A friend of mine was whisked away in the middle of the night to a treatment center. What began as a thoughtful gift (one letter a day for him to open) has now turned into an artistic obsession. I realized I am most creative when my hands are busy for someone else. I guess that is why I give away 99% of my art work (only have two pieces that I have ever kept). This is the journal of my artwork that is now in the possession of others: old lovers, friends, family, acquaintances and possibly a stranger from time to time. The envelope is always on the left side of each photo, and the front of the letter is on the right. Enjoy.
